Herings Hall Close

Completed in August 2021, Herings Hall Close features 19 social (council) rent family homes that have now been let to local families that were previously on the London Borough of Hounslow housing waiting list.

About Herings Hall Close

The Herings Hall Close development is the latest project to deliver new homes for the borough on Hounslow’s surplus land. The council-owned site in Brentford had been derelict for many years, before Lampton Homes created a delightful cul-de-sac with a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom council.

Delivered in partnership with the council’s Housing Development Team and EcoWorld London, Herings Hall Close further contributed to London Borough of Hounslow’s commitment to build 1,000 new Council homes by April 2022 which has been reached months ahead of schedule.

“My kids love it. It’s so safe, the neighbours are all nice…it’s a dream come true.”

Enhancing community and sustainability

Designed as a community home zone, local children now have a shared play area at Herings Hall Close that provides a safe place for them to enjoy with their family and neighbours close to home.

Wellbeing measures

Residents benefit from solar panels for renewable energy in the homes and electric vehicle charging points. Herings Hall Close includes cycle parking spaces, a play area, landscaped gardens as well as a private open space for residents. Some houses also have nesting boxes to support local wildlife such as birds and bats. These measures will support the Council’s commitment to deliver its Climate Emergency Action Plan including cutting carbon emissions across the borough.
